It was that skirt of hers that made him smile--physical cellophane
Christmas bows covered the thin gauze liner; they were hot-glued on like some
sort of Pinterest project gone wrong. Jim thought it was shiny, yet not quite.
The dress showed her undergarments. He’d never seen Christine outside the law office
before and here she was plastered, hanging on to her friends to steady her
gait, to give her a pace to keep up with.
Jim snapped one photo, labeled it “Christine”, and emailed
it to himself. Mission complete. He would be storing this one away for further
use.
